STEP 1

The Problem Statement

Our client was a female founder, based out of Shillong who wanted to build a new venture in sustainable fashion. The vision was to create not just another sustainable brand, but to differentiate in terms product catergories while focusing on autehtic sourcing and quality of products.


She faced a foundational challenge:

  • No clear name

  • No defined positioning

  • No visual direction

  • No cohesive communication system

They needed more than a logo.
They needed a brand foundation that could grow with the business.


Without strategic clarity, early-stage brands risk:

  • inconsistent visuals

  • diluted messaging

  • low trust perception

  • difficulty scaling

The initial problem of starting needed better clarity.

• Competitive naming patterns


We identified the need for:

  • A name that feels rooted yet modern, memorable and easily rolls of the tongue

  • A visual system that communicates clarity and confidence

  • A brand that signals professionalism without feeling corporate

The Design Solution

We developed naming directions that balanced:

  • memorability

  • cultural nuance

  • phonetic clarity

  • scalability across platforms

From this process, Lynnai India emerged as a distinctive and ownable identity.

The name created space for:
