2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases, submit entries or register for workshops or challenges.

Minors participating in educational or creative programs must do so under the supervision and consent of a parent, guardian or institution.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, design assets, logos, artworks, course materials and downloadable content — is the intellectual property of Karaki Design Lab or its collaborators, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, modify or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Participants in KDL challenges or workshops retain rights to their original work but grant KDL limited rights to display, publish, and promote submissions for non-commercial, educational or promotional purposes (e.g., exhibition, social media, case studies).

4. Design Challenges and Submissions

When you participate in a KDL open design challenge:

You confirm that your submission is your original work and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
KDL reserves the right to use submitted entries for exhibitions, publications, digital showcases, or future educational content, with proper credit given to the creator.
Winners or selected participants may be contacted for collaboration, further development or mentoring opportunities.
KDL reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel a challenge if necessary.

5. Commissions and Custom Design Services

For commissioned design or creative projects:

Pricing, timelines and deliverables will be mutually agreed upon before project commencement.
A non-refundable advance payment (typically 50%) is required to initiate a project.
Final files are delivered upon completion and full payment.
All rights remain with KDL until payment is completed; after which, ownership and usage rights are transferred as per the agreement.
KDL retains the right to feature completed projects in its portfolio and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

6. Workshops, Talks, and Educational Programs

Registration fees (if applicable) must be paid in full before participation.
Refunds are only possible if KDL cancels or reschedules the event.
Workshop materials and recordings (if provided) are for personal learning use only and may not be distributed or reproduced without permission.

7. Payments and Pricing

All prices on our website are listed in INR (₹) unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to revise prices or offers at any time.

Payments are processed securely through authorized third-party payment gateways. KDL is not responsible for any errors, delays, or failures of external payment systems.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

For commissioned work: deposits are non-refundable once work begins.
For workshops: cancellation by participants may not be eligible for refund unless specified.
For challenges: no refund applies once registration or submission is confirmed.

9. Community and Conduct

We value creativity, respect and collaboration.

By participating in our services, challenges or community spaces, you agree not to engage in any activity that is abusive, discriminatory, unlawful or harmful to others. KDL reserves the right to remove or disqualify any participant or submission that violates these principles.

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or data
Interfere with or disrupt website functionality
Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful material
